We would like to highlight a few on-going projects which have immense potential in promoting Samskritam.

Sarasvati Seva
Poets, writers and scholars in Samskritam are being encouraged to create new or translated works in Samskritam under the Sarasvati Seva program.
The goal of this project is to publish a thousand works in various topics including:
- Teaching and learning material
- Short stories
- Novels
- Philosophy
- Biographies
- Current topics and issues
- Dharma and culture
- Leadership
- Science
- Other modern subjects
Each book will consist of an average of 150 pages and 1000 copies of each book will be printed. Around 250 copies of each book will be distributed to institutional libraries, scholars, and the needy students, in order to cultivate the reading habit in Samskrit. The rest of the copies will be sold at a nominal price and the proceeds will go to the state units of Samskrita Bharati, which in turn will be used for the popularization of Samskrit.
How can you be involved in this project?
The total cost of sponsoring one book, including translation, composing, artwork, printing, and forwarding, is US$1000. The sponsor may choose one of the ten categories from which to sponsor a book, or may suggest a book for translation. One of the preliminary pages will be reserved for, either acknowledging the sponsor, or dedicating the book to someone the sponsor chooses. All efforts will be made to publish the book within one year of receiving the sponsorship money. The sponsor will receive five copies of the translated book, and additional copies may be purchased.
This mega publication endeavour is essential for the development of Samskritam, and hence Samskrita Saraswati needs your generous support.
